    Redcliffe Remembers 1824-2024

In mid-September 1824, Lieutenant Henry Miller landed the brig, Amity, on the shores of Redcliffe Peninsula in the Gubbi Gubbi nation and established the First European Settlement in Queensland.

History Redcliffe is currently planning the ways in which we will mark the 200th anniversary of this historic event.

Follow us here and on our social media as we approach this milestone.

These Redcliffe photos dated 1948 to 1950 were discovered in the Brisbane City Archives collection. Two of them have been correctly identified as Suttons Beach. Merry Christmas from History Redcliffe! A 1942 aerial image of the area we now know as Kippa-Ring (officially named a suburb of Redcliffe in 1971). So many changes in 83 years!
