Guest speaker: Elizabeth Nunn
Elizabeth Nunn has two post-graduate history qualifications, including a Master of Philosophy from Griffith University. She was a Councillor of The Royal Historical Society of Queensland from 2019 to 2022 and continues to provide research and cataloguing support. Elizabeth researched the historical significance of Diggers’ Drive in Kalinga Park, three Streets of Remembrance street signs, and identified the World War I volunteers from Banyo, Nudgee, Northgate and Virginia. For her work as a voluntary historian within her community, she received a Brisbane City Council Australia Day Achievement Award.
