June meeting

Winter is coming!!

Yes, June is just next week and that means it’s almost time for our next History Redcliffe gathering.

Join us on Friday 3rd June (the first Friday) at 2pm in the Redcliffe Library meeting room where we will gather to hear our guest speaker, Joan Baker-Winn.

Joan Baker-Winn is one of the 5th of 8 generations of the Winn Family to call Pine Rivers District home. Her interest in Family History gave her the impetus to delve into the History of the local area.

She has been a member of North Pine History Society for 15+ years and is currently Treasurer. Volunteering at North Pine Heritage Museum has been a weekly past time for the same number of years…… minus Covid, of course. One could say Joan has History running through her veins!
